OK currently I have a crappy set of Creative Inspire T6100's running off my PC, and a Hi-Fi running off of a huge (way too big) set of 2 Wharfedale speakers. I was planning on getting a set of Logitech X-5500's and putting everything through that but I keep hearing that while they're good for games and movies, they're pap for music.
Sooo... basically how can I run my PC, my DVD player etc all through one unit... can I get a reasonably inexpensive amp that has Dolby Pro Logic etc that will allow me to run everything I need off it? Also, which set of 5.1 speakers (will be ceiling mounted) will give me gaming/movie/music nirvana without breaking the bank? Ideally looking to spend a total of £300 max. Cheers.
