Hi,
I am currently using my inspire 6700 6.1 speakers with the motherboards onboard sound (Sabertooth 990fx) and I was wondering whether it would be worth adding in a soundcard. I used to have an old Audigy 2 but I can't use that as I need a card with a PCi-E slot, it is also very old. I was looking at the ASUS range specifically the Phoebus solo.
Do you guys think it worth the cost as I know my speakers are old and I don't have the money to upgrade them as well, this will be mainly for gaming and a little music on the side?
