Really quite enjoyed it - guessed a couple of the plot lines and also had the "guy who done it" banged to rights really early on :)

To the person who prefered Sucker Punch - I'm gonna assume your like 12 or something?
I don't know how anyone could prefer that to "anything" and I honestly mean, anything.

:D is it really that bad? I haven't seen it yet but judging by the trailer surely it cant be that bad? :p

To be fair I guess everyone has their own opinions - so maybe my comment was a little bit off.
My own personal opinion is that I think I would rather sit down to watch any film other than Sucker Punch.
But that is just my opinion - pleased I saw it using my Unlimited Card, because I would have been gutted if I'd gone and paid especially to see it.

Not saying best film every but I enjoyed it and unlike a lot of movies I see at the cinema I never felt like I had been robbed :)

Enjoyed it until I went for something to eat with my girlfriend after and we realised the HUUUUUGE plot holes in the story.

*****SPOILER ALERT******
*****SPOILER ALERT******

The bomber set off the bomb using a mobile phone and timed it to go off when passing the other train....but the bomber was not on the train....FAIL

*******SPOILER**********

I don't understand.
Why did the bomber need to be on the train?
In fact - why would he want to be on the train?
All he needed to know was when the two trains would be passing - something a little intelligence could reveal and then "dial" the bomb at that moment.

He was attempting to make it look like he had been killed on the train, first leaving his wallet behind and then throwing it back onto the train when it had been returned.

What do you mean - FAIL, the bomber wasn't on the train?

To answer Mookjong:

********SPOILER***********
In the scene when they are fighting at the white van, the bomber has a set of binoculars when he is originally approached, no doubt to check when the trains pass...

ps3ud0

-Spoilers-

MookJong, that was not a plot hole.

The reason the bomber wanted it to look like he was on the train was so they wouldn't suspect him of BEING the bomber.

He planted the bomb on the train, then left his ID behind so he would be presumed dead, meaning he wouldn't be a suspect regardless of any evidence found, he then would have gotten in his van, driven towards the meeting point of the two trains, dialled the bomb and moved on.

They should have ended it about 10-15 minutes before they did, anything after that seems like it was done for American audiences and also when you actually think about the ending was a little creepy.

Agree 100%.

-SPOILERS-

They should have ended it at the freeze when the camera moves back through the train, the rest was utterly crap and pointless.

My problem was how he could see the other train was passing when he was not on it....I totally understand he was trying to fake his death.

Because his intent was to get into the van and drive to where he could see the two trains passing.

Every time you saw it blow up when he wasn't on the train you could see it was near enough to see

I really enjoyed it, one of those films that left me feeling like I wasn't in the real world after I came out of the cinema.

Thought it was definitely better than Unknown for whoever made that camparison.

Really enjoyed this. I loved Moon so was glad to see this was also a success.

*****Avert your eyes plot fans*******
Another reason he needed to be on the train was to plant the bomb. He couldn't plant it in advance and just hope it wasn't discovered.

I liked the ending. I agree that maybe it could have stopped with the slow pull but in a sciency sort of way it sort of makes more sense what actually happened. I'm not an expert on the multiverse theory and I know it's pointless taking the science in a science fiction film seriously, but if he was inhabiting an alternate universe that split of the point he got teleported in then it seems to make a little bit of sense that that universe could carry on existing.

*****END of spoilers

***SPOILER****

Once again no, he did not need to remain on the train once he had planted the bomb.
Why should it be discovered?
It was extremely well hidden.
In the "original universe" the bomb was triggered and caused a lot of death and destruction, so it wasn't found.
There really was no reason at all for him to remain on the train after he had planted the bomb.
And the reason why in every single version he leaves the train - he really does not want to kill himself!
