South Africa 05

Well last year we had a holiday and I had a great time. I took lots and lots of photo's using a Canon PowerShot S1 IS and a few turned out ok. The reason for posting them now is that I am getting a 350D this weekend so decided to look through them and see what you all think. C&C welcome.

Went to South Africa April this year. Where abouts did you go?

Flew into Johannesburg, then went over to the Kruga national park. We stayed there for a week odd and then drove down to the south coast (very long drive!) stopping off at Kimberley. Met the south coast at Jeffrays bay and drove along the garden route (stopping over for a few nights here and there) untill we finished in Cape Town.

It was an amazing place to visit and would love to return.

Flew to Joburg 8th April 2006, then onto cape town. Stayed there for a few days while visiting the cape itself and table top mountain. From then on we drove the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth stopping off a long the way. After PE for a few days we finished our holiday at Bushman Sands Safrai and then from PE - Joburg - Home.

I ahve some photos but not yet sorted out.

If I find the last CD with all my pictures from Cape Town on I will post some up for you. I seem to have lost the CD at the moment though

Edit: Found the CD and am working through the pictures as we speak

Edit 2: Here they are, unfortunatly I dont have any good ones of Cape Town.

Did the same tour 3 years ago! did you go to Addo?

That rings a bell, is that the reserve with lots of elephants and things there? If so, yes I did, thats where picture 2 and 4 (from the top selection of pictures) were from. I think basicly all of the elephants turned up at a water hole as we got there. It was another great day out.
