I own a Contour ROAM2 camera, and one of the first things I did was snap off the rotating mount by dropping my helmet 
. So I used the fixed mount. I was recently knocked off my bike and changed helmet and again my fixed/static mount was damaged.
My camera pretty much points to the floor now. It's still in good shape and I can't afford to buy something like a gopro or ghost.
The mounts aren't made any more and you can only rarely get them from ebay at a price (about $100! including postage - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Contour-O...919499?hash=item4af8554c0b:g:0pYAAOxyOypSVCgj )
I don't suppose on the off-chance anyone has a few ROAM2 mounts laying about?
