Speakers for a small bedroom.

Atm I have a sony home cinema system in my room but it's annoying, the ports mean it has mean it's impossible to hook up to my PC as I don't have a HDMI slot on my computer and the Amp it comes with doesn't have a jack.
Am I better off just buying a different amp? If so which ones would be compaitable and what cabling would I use?
Or would I be better of just buying a whole new setup?
Been told I should get 2.1 speaker setup in my room instead of 5.1

Use the 3.5mm jack on the front of the DAV-DZ330 - it's covered in the manual

It doesn't have a jack in the front. Unless I provided the wrong one.
I bought it from Tesco's awhile ago now.
It has a USB port on the front and a Scart, HDMI and optical in the back.

Page 12 of the user manual for DAV-DZ330 says it has a jack socket. I suggest you go have a look at the back of the unit and check the model number otherwise it's a wild goose chase.
