Situation is currently, me and my missus run a 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX & 2006 Fiesta ST.
She uses the Fiesta most of the time (business use too) and since owning it we've clocked up 20kmiles, whilst my scoob has on 47k on it
I only use the scoob to go back and forth to work in and do about 8k to 10k per year.
My main gripe is now I have a DRT (nurburgring) I would prefer to start saving my money and using it to go there as most of my spare money goes on fuel, insurance, tax etc etc...
I would like to change both cars as
1.Something economical for her to use for work primarily however I would use too. This would need to be comfortable, power steering etc, cheap tax etc.
2.She doesn't want to drive the scoob due to its image. She would prefer something a little more mature sleek.
I was thinking about moving to both diesel cars because of the economy factor and was thinking about a Fiesta 1.4 tdci and a Golf GT TDI..
THis would give us both a cheap run about and something nicer and understated too..
I thought i'd throw this open to the OCUK Motors for some other suggestions or advice
Let the discussion start.....
