Spec check / advise for new rig ~£500

Will be buying a new rig in (very) early January.

I'll be carrying over hardrive / OS and graphics card.

Mainly to be used for gaming and a bit of CAD design work.

Can anyone see any glaring compatibility issues or improvements / cost cuts?

I would be wanting to clock the i5 up to at least 3.4GHz, what do people think of the cooler?

(Oh and I realise SATA cables will come with motherboard but I already have a blue Akasa cable and it looks good lol)

Looks good.The cooler will do just fine as you could achieve that clock on stock voltage.
