Spec for a friend

A friend of mine is wanting a new setup and wondered if you guys could help him out with a decent spec? I am not upto date with c2duo and ddr2.
He wants this spec to include...

6600 Core 2 Duo CPU
8800 nvidia card PCI-Express

2 gig mem
Decent PSU
Case
Motherboard (Will need to have at least 1 IDE port)
Sata hdd 200+

He has the monitor,keyboard,mouse,dvd/rw

His budget is £650 inc vat and del. I know it seems a little low and have told him,but can it be done?

ps. he won't be doing any overclocking.
 
Thanks for that spec it looks great.The only problem he would have is that he would like the case to be a bit fancier as that is a low budget dull looking case.Any other suggetsions? i know it may go slightly over budget with this change.

Thanks for that on the PSU he has decided to go for one of these.

He has now said to me that he would like a board that can do SLi also still needs to go with everthing else in this spec and needs at least 1 IDE port.Can anyone help out?

I said to him that with the video card he is getting then i don't think he would need SLi. Am i correct or wrong?
