Spec me 3 office machines to run general purpose tasks including SAGE200

I think you'll find for bottom end it's difficult to beat the big players for cost, that's their forte, which in conjunction with the inherent support, let alone the testing they undertake it's not worth the effort to build yourself for business.

Plus the buck will stop at you if/when something fails, buy off the shelf and save yourself the hassle, and probably some money.

If the HQ has servers does it have IT support? At a company I used to work for one of the remote depots decided to upgrade their own PCs. The first we new was when we needed to go there to deal with a reported problem. The political fallout wasn't pretty.

Having discussed with my boss further about these 3 machines, he has concluded that they won't be connected to any server or HQ and will run standalone. Apparently we have in house support aswel so that's sorted. All i need now is 3 basic office machines for Sub £500 inc monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Bacon i have had a look at your spec and it's really good, i've taken one of the hard drives out though to minimise cost. Would you recommend anything else?

is space an issue?
im not sure how the office is setup but performance wise there be no difference to an itx mounted on the back of the screen

Space isn't really an issue but if you could explain what you just said?

Mei, you would have loose cables, noise, dust, damage issues etc.

Revised spec if you can afford it.
