Hi all
My umidigi F1 has failed so have a £150 (price of phone has gone up since) credit on Amazon, does anyone have any idea what other phones could be a good replacement?
Don't mind spending a bit more but was really happy with the phone so I guess anything better is a bonus.
Thanks

I know it's on the higher end of what you requested but I just got loads of my staff Huawei P Smart 2019's and I have to say I am fairly impressed by them (I'm an iOS guy) much more than i am the Samsung J5s some other staff have

I think Sim free it's about £180/£190 but it's a very nice handset

I found the battery life on the G7 Pro was pretty amazing. The standby anyway. I forget how much that was, might have been just over £200.

I can imagine the Power will last for days and days!

(This typed on a Redmi Note 7 which seems okay)

and the winner is.....

the G7 power is showing 3 days estimated so far!

cheers again

Nice, yeah this phone has one of the longest battery life's out of many many phones you see and for the price it is good.

If you leave the phone on standby it will last 2 to 3 days easy with no use during that whole time but switched on.

Yeah i wasn't expecting you to go with moto g7 power but yeah i recommended it because i have one and the reason why i recommended it is because of it's battery life which is important for me and other people also the price is affordable.

So yeah the moto g7 power is one of those phones with a much longer battery life despite what websites say in photo below.

Enjoy the phone my friend,

I will report how much the battery lasts with screen on time.

The battery in this moto g7 power seems solid to be frank, i predict at least 8-10 hours of screen on time you see anyways i will report with my findings.

So 2hrs 38 mins @ 84% battery lifes so yeah will be likely to last 8 or 10 hours with screen usage when the battery is like 10% prehaps.

Dan.

p.s. the reason why i am posting about battery life is because of personal use of the phone and what to realistically expect from the battery life, instead of battery tests done by reviews of this phone but instead personal use in real time world use.

It is like this, a car is reported by claims by the manufacturer to do something like 70 miles per gallon and the real world usage is 25 or 30 miles per gallon.

So in retrospect i am doing battery life test with real world usage so you know roughly how long this phone lasts.

I won't be surprised if the phone lasts at least 8 hours of on screen time at 10 per cent battery life which is good.

So yeah 2 hours worth of youtube is like using up 13-14% roughly of battery life so yeah 13 divided by 2 is 6.5 % battery life used for 1 hour times 12 hours is 78% battery used for 12 hours of youtube streaming or 84% battery life used for 12 hours of youtube streaming.

Not bad going 12 hours of moderate useage all the time, i get the feeling people on this forum will use it a lot less then that which is 12 hours of on screen time or youtube which will make the battery last 1 to 2 days or a bit more.

Yep so 12 hours of usage it is then, from all the photos on this thread posted by me, this moto g7 power will last 12 hours and a bit more if your streaming youtube for 12 hours or a bit more that is.

I must say that the brightness of the screen for me is left on automatic.

So yea i am expecting 12 hours or a bit more of youtube watching from 100% battery charge to like 10 or 20% battery life.

Not bad considering my other phones managed 6-8 hours of youtube streaming.

Done about 5hrs and 32 mins on screen time and the battery isn't at 50% yet, this is going to beat my 12 hour prediction, yet alone 8 hours, this is with random use only not fully you tube.

The amazon music app seems to be way more power efficient as in how much power it uses, i did about 29 minutes of usage and only used 1% of battery life, where as youtube uses more then that, i think that is because the screen is always on with youtube and not with amazon music and something else which i can't think of.

Edit,

Yeah 12 plus hours is possible with this device, it has lasted mostly through the day with how much i needed to use the phone, don't think i will be able to make it to 12 hour on screen time because i will be in bed by then.

I am getting tired of waiting for the battery to deplete and in any case it is close to 50% battery life.

This battery life is the best i have ever experienced to be honest it really does hold it's own regarding battery life and this phone was designed solely for battery life.

So 8 hours and 1 minutes on screen time, i believe most phones would be out of power around this time mark like 5-10% but this has over 50% battery life that is.

The battery on this phone refuses to die.

So much for me saying that the battery will be finished in 8 hours, in another post on this thread far from it i really don't know how long it will last but yeah.

Some review says the battery will last 15.5 hours > https://www.tomsguide.com/us/moto-g7-power-battery-life,news-29796.html

Sounds roughly right but for me, this phone has done 8 hours and 1 min and the battery is at 55-54% so that means for me with my usage this phone will last a bit longer than 15.5 hours but close to that figure maybe like 16 or 17 hours on screen usage time.

Regarding battery life this phone the moto g7 power vs the lenovo p2 and i own both phones and i have to say the moto g7 power beats the lenovo p2 in battery life for sure here folks.

Time to put the phone on the charger i am confident that this phone will give 15+ hours of on screen time.

Pretty impressive as for battery life.

This phone is one of those phones that is designed for battery life and i would recommend this phone for people who want battery life and 14 hours of on screen time should last someone who constantly uses this phone which will last a day despite it being 14 hours because you have to factor in 8 hours of sleep on average for a person as well so yeah.

14-15 hours on screen time, this will last a whole day almost for someone who constantly uses the phone for that amount of time easy.
