Were has the £4000 come from, you went to the bank the other day for a consolidation type loan.
Unless you are an enthusiast, I can't explain why someone would buy a 20 yo Escort over something like a Clio 172 for the same money.
Pay off your loans and buy some **** heap for £200, you only want it for 6 months.

ooo what you going to do? Throw some maxed out credit cards at him?
Seriously, give it a rest with the e-thuggery, Motors has had enough of that today from Blackhawk47.
How about you save up to £5-6K and then buy a Golf Mk 5.
But you said you didnt want a rot box and that wanted something reliable. You then say you want a 20 year old car![]()
haha, welcome to gd. err, motors. shep anytime you start a spec me thread, your credit history will be mentioned here. get used to it.
How long ago did you own it?
I had an Escort RS turbo S2 that never broke down. I owned this car for 2 years...
Don't flatter yourself. No one is trying to get a rise from you.
You must surely be able to see why people will question your request for a 20 year old car when you have said you want something reliable..
Why does everyone take advice so personally. If you don't want to hear what other people say, don't ask them.
He is spot on, in your financial state buying a 20 year old car and running the risk of an unexpected bill isn't sensible.
Seeing that you couldn't get a loan from the bank, what have done exactly?
