As the title says, Im looking for a 2.0 system for about £60.
The only catch is, they have to be wall mountable...

Any ideas?

Im getting rid of my 5.1 setup, as I just dont use it (Headphones) and the wires are getting in the way.

Thanks, Rob

Are there actually 2.0 sets that are any good? You really need the .1 for the lower and higher ends.

Also, anything can be wall-mounted, with a bit of ingenuity :)

Depends what you're using them for, if music is a priority you don't want a sub, look at most hifi setups.

I use the M-Audio AV30s at home for music listening (and light gaming) on my computer at home, nice and small and the audio quality is great at low-medium volumes :)
As minstadave mentioned above, the t40s are also worth a shout.

Ooh thanks, I think I might have to go with the T40s, as I see they have a built in headphone plug and I get loads of static when using the case one..

Actually, is that normal? If I move the mouse I can hear a buzz coming through the headphones. If I drag a selection box across my desktop the buzz changes in pitch relative to the size of the box :S

Anyway, thanks for the T40 suggestion :)

It's electrical interference, usually seen with onboard sound, if its bothersome pick up an external soundcard :)

I think he is referring to the front case audio, when plugging in his phones.

It's a common problem, why most do not bother with it. Funnily enough, neither of my PC's suffer from front case audio interference. I have managed to route both audio cables away from any PSU cables, which for me works great. :D Not always possible though, as depends on length of cable and where the sockets are in relation to the PSU and it's cables.

Aha yeah thanks, it is only front case audio that produces the static sound.

Might see if I can get part of my old 5.1 system working then, think I might have blown a fuse in the amp though, as it seemed to die a couple of days ago :P
