I bought my new build in April I think, and I've just looked at the OcUK shop and it appears I now know nothing about current products again! lol How quickly technology and prices change...

Anyway, what's the going spec for a ~£600 gaming PC (box only) that won't be overclocking? Any starting point would be great! My cousin is wanting to build his own, which I'm extatic about :) Cheers all.

Sorry - all sorts of games, BioShock, Crysis, Command and Conquer, Ghost Recon 2. The brief is he want to be able to play new games for at least 4 years (but not necessarily always at full detail).

Resolution currently 1280x1024.

I think this includes everything necessary and comes in slightly under budget, there is also potential for a bit of overclocking if your cousin becomes confident enough to do so. :)
