Spec me a 6k BMW...

Just had an email about the 330i Sport.. Its spec

2004 330i sport
Metallic silver/grey
51,000 miles with full BMW SH inc reciepts and doc's
2 owners
Climate control
Leather heated seats
18" M sport wheels
M sport body pack ??
Sports suspension
Full Electric pack
Showroom condition

Will see later on tbh the sports suspension and 18" wheels are not really what i'm after but these can be sold and replaced for something more comfy...

Downgrading wheels shouldn't be a problem, most people will be more than happy to take those MV2s off you. You could get something like the 17" M-Tech ones (like in my sig) which would look fine although some might disagree :p

The guy my dad bought his Honda from had a 330d touring and it looked pretty good with them!

Sounds good! Have you got any photos of it?

One thing to check is if the suspension bushes have been done/need doing. A great way to find this out is using the MOT online history checker. You can also see other things that the car has needed doing and then check it against the invoices that the owner will have.

The sports suspension and 18's will make the ride a bit harder, but by no means crippling. Give it a go first. My mum was looking to buy a E90 325i/330i SE as she had heard that the sport suspension and 18 inch run flat tyres can make the ride very hard in the M-Sport version. She was very reluctant to give it a go, but i insisted she had a test drive just to see. She said that it was no where near as bad as she thought it was going to be and started looking at the M-Sport models!

Might have just found a show stoper on a 3 series. It looks like they have a smaller back seat than the vectra which means fitting my 3 car seats is going to be tricky.. I had trouble finding 3 to fit the vectra and if this is smaller then its going to be a no go. Although I would rarely use it with the kids as I have a people carrier I still need the option if needs be...
Will have to see when I have a look otherwise i'm going to need a 5 series..

I,m old mate with 3 kids and a ruddy great dog so looks is not overly important to me :D an estate would be perfect and I think that is what i,m going to try and find.

I was just about to say that I think your looking at the wrong size of car given your tribe.

Seems you've sussed this bit out, so I'll leave it. :D

Just been and had a look and although a lovely car its as expected the rear seat is too small, so its looking like a 5 series is a must... Search continues..
