the mobo is ddr2 am2+/am3
and the cpu can be used with either am2+ or am3 as i have a phenom and wnt from an am2+ to am3 mobo myself and you have ddr2 ram which is compatible
you did ask "dose themobo above that i spec'd support 125w cpus? " there was no reply

the cheaper 630 CPU is enough, it destroys the phenom555 in that anandtech link.
oh sorry i said this because the phenom ii x4's are 125w and the x2's are not

no it doesn't lol.
most of the graphs are lower is better, its actually more like the little AthlonX4 slaps the crap dual core up.
