There are just too many bags to choose from, but no proper online reviews, help me pick one.

To hold:
D40x
18-55mm and 55-200mm (one will always be attached to the body)
External Flash
Charger with wire
Couple of memory cards

Around £30-£60 to spend.

Thanks.

I'd go for the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW, a good ruck sac that you will grow into.

 that is expensive. :/

I'm looking at getting a new bag as my main one is far too small (I can fit my camera, kit lens and 30mm in. Nothing more - it's a lowpro rezo - not sure which one though) and the one I got free with my camera is horrible (some centon thing). Think I'll probably go to some camera shops and have a look at bag selections though. Not really sure whether to get a new shoulder bag or a backpack at the moment. Needs to be able to take everything in my sig, as well as a flash and some accessories.

Yup, they aren't cheap but you need to look at it as an investment. I made the mistake of buying a Lowepro Nova 2 AW that fitted my needs when I started with photography, less than six months later I had to buy the Mini Trekker to fit my new kit in. The Mini Trekker lasted me a lot longer before I bought a Photo Trekker but the Mini Trekker still gets used when I want to travel light.

In the same sort of my Lowepro topload zoom can only just fit my 40D, and will take at a squeeze takes my 17-85, wanting something to take everything, I have (I have the 70-200 F4 version however) Also needing to fit in my 17" laptop. Been looking at the Lowepro Fastpack 350 as thats the only thing that seems to take my laptop

have to say i have a slingshot 300..which is not very big..but can hold a 40d+100/400mm..3 other lenses..flash gun..loads of other little bits [batteries etc]..with ease.have owned cheaper bags but it may 'pay' to pay for a decent bag..as carrying around £2500 worth of equipment.... £70 for a bag is not to much and your getting something designed to do the job properly.
maybe look at the slingshot 200
is a very handy bag ..and also acts as a brace when taking pics

theres a little demo video that explains about them

Hi PinkFloyd... there well worth looking at..but depends on your needs !
have to say for what you can fit in one is really quite amazing...still you will know what is right for you ..happy bag hunting !

I used to have a Slingshot 100... and it did my nut in. Other people might fare better, but I just didn't get on with the single strap. If you go anything like a moderate distance with it filled, the single strap felt uncomfortable. I've now ended up with a Flipside200 as my light bag and a Pro Trekker as my main bag. both of them work nicely.

I've got a Rezo 160 and it can fit a 450d, a sigma 17-70, a sigma 10-20 and a canon 50mm. It's also got 2 spare batteries, a lens cloth, a lens pen and a few screw on filters in it. Not much space left mind!

I have the 4000xl, and i wish i didnt, it barely fits my 400d and the kits lens. If i put a zoom lens in the top its not comfortable and no chance of a flash going in too.
You need bigger, get the xxl or xxxl.

Odd, my D300, sigma 18-50 f2.8 and nikon 55-200vr fit in there like a glove, given my camera and 18-50 are both way bigger than the the op's kit I'd have thought a flash would have tucked in too.

Just bought a Crumpler Muffin Top 7500 to replace my Lowepro Rezo 160 - loads more space and, importantly, does not look like a camera bag!
