Spec me a....business name

Cheers for the reply.

There's a massive private estate near me that I've a friend who lives there. Houses in there don't go for high 6/low 7 figures. Thinking of dropping some flyers in and seeing what interest I get.

Home visits as you know = no rent. The only charge would be what ever it costs in petrol to get their and maintenance on my car. Which would be 4 miles there and back. Home visits aren't initially what I planned to do however could be quite profitable though.

20 sessions at £40 = £3200 before tax. Whether that be 10 clients each wanting 2 sessions or 20 singles.

Is your gym quite competative? Do you find the front of house team reffer clients to you or that it's left up to you as PT's to approach clients and deal with your business yourself?

Edit: Needs, Naughty, No, Now, NAWWWWT. :p

I dabble in home visits now and then, though like you said there is a cost factor plus you have travel time so it's like them paying for an hour and a half of your time. Plus you need some kit and insurance. With hour slots in the gym I can go from one to one, or leave 15 mins in between etc.

There is only 4 PT's in my gym, though one is a manager at another gym and rarely takes on new work, the only girl has no motivation or business sense so does mostly instructor shifts, and the last guy is the main man who has been doing it for 10 years and rakes it in. At this gym I've only been PT'ing about 4 months so building up the client base. Front of house dont refer a great deal unless they get enquiries specifically, but i do try to get them do what they can.

Just sealed a deal with the other main PT to work together on a weight loss programme and seminars for the new year which is going to be a good marketing tool.
