m looking for a chlorophyll companion for my desk at work, which won't see much real sunlight at all (get the occasional bit in the summer through the atrium), however I don't have a clue what sort of plants to go for which won't die on me :)

Any ideas?

japanese peace lilly?
I dont know what it is to be honest, just remember hearing it in hot fuzz.

Quite big, I got a plant a couple of days ago which is also probably too big for your desk, but it's great. :D Grown quite attached to it already, it's a Yucca Elephantipes.

apple tree then you can have fruit whenever you want! its the perfect solutions to all life's problems!!!!!!

We're not allowed plants at our desk. No doubt there's some health and safety reason behind this.

I'd get a venus fly trap and feed it monster munch.

I have one of these in my home office, along with a cactus, and a venus fly trap ...
