Spec me: A Digital Camera

The wife wants a 'cute' digital camera, nothing too big, just your sort of standard camera. She was forever complaining before about the quality of her old one in low light conditions.
Any one know if there are any particular features that i should be looking out for?

Depends on your budget really.

The Canon Ixus range are cracking little compacts for the size.

What was the old camera? Most compacts are pretty similar for general purpose.

Theres a photography section who would be the better guys to ask for advice. Though im pretty sure the general consensus is get whatever Canon Ixus one you can afford

Canon are always a good shout for just about any variety of camera.
