It's that time again and i need a film or 2 that is parent safe, no cringe worthy bits, not extra violent and no sex ;)

I think comedy is fairly safe so, the last 2 years we've watched Ice age i/ii and it's a little slow for me :D

Not xmas themed films but a film to watch at that time when your stuck with the family after lunch wondering what to do :)

Any ideas?

Avatar?

Grown-up themes, but no sex and the violence is mainly fantasy type - not gory or too brutal. Not sure what certificate it is, but I can't see it being a problem for kids to see.

It's long, but is a cracking film - if you have a HD television, try to watch it on Blu-ray to see it in all its glory.

Elf, Nightmare before christmas, Muppets christmas carol, Santa Clause the movie

As long as you stay with the kids christmas films then i think you should be ok.

Sorry, I meant to mean something new :) Oh and nothing Xmas themed if possible, i ment something to watch on the xmas hols ;)

Avatar is a good idea!

The Blackhole.

Disney classic, associated with christmas only because it was on every month of december during the fab 80's.:)
