Spec me a film

[Disco Boy]

I fancy watching a film which is an action, but doesn't take itself too seriously.

Films similar what I am after are the Die Hard series and Air Force One (watched again lasxt night and it has given me a craving for more).

Gore needs to be kept to a minimum because the gf really isn't a fan, but fighting is fine.

So what can you all think of?

I'm going to google other Segal films because they definitely fit the bill!

As for the other two, thanks for the suggestions but I'm not really a fan of martial arts films

hard boiled is not a martial arts film, its the best mindless action shooter ever

As hard Boiled has already been mentioned, try one of John Woo's other classic Kong Kong action crime films "The Killer". Brilliant story, great scenes and textbook John Woo action.
Hard Boiled may be a little too violent for the gf.
