Can you spec me a decent gaming rig for 500 quid please. this 1 aint for me, otherwise it would end up like the 1 in my sig.

I specced one up for you, I went for 1gig ram as it was impossible to get it on budget with a case, PSU, and drives. I am assuming you needed a dvd and hd. I went for the 7600gt As they give fantastic performance for the price. Hope this helps you make a decision, you can save some by going for an 80gb hard drive. :)

hi Meh.

I have a 4300 and I am very please, some argue the 6300 is better and vice versa. I was lead to believe that the 4300 was easier to overclock than othres and being a total noob I went for this as my option.

That system i specced imo is kick for most games, later on upgrade the GFX and RAM and you will not be far behind ever..

and ive just seen ya sig :o 3.1 nice

After 24 hours i have found this is not as stable i would like, I dropped it down to 2.8

When i get a new cooler i will look to take the time to get it stable. With those made Vapor chills people are getting over 4ghz so you know the "sky is the limit"

Good luck with your new build!

the easy part is the build, trying to get the fella who i will be building it for to overclock or me to overclock for him is another.

my rig is in the sig.

(P.S is there anyone havin trouble with vista ultimate and getting nTune to run??)
