spec me a hotel in new delhi

it's worth a shout on here but I'm visiting new delhi soon and I'm after a hotel for a few nights maybe in the karol bagh area - I'm keen on finding something that is easy for me to see the sights.

anyone been there before and can recommend a good hotel for me please?

Been to loads of hotels there, but only for food, never for staying

(lived nearby for 3 years and family in Delhi main).

Top hotels are (my info may be a few years out of date, but is unlikely to change massively) -

Maurya Sheraton
Hyatt
Grand Hyatt
Taj Palace

I've been, but stayed in backpacker places around Paharganj for tuppence a night, none of which I'd really class as hotels

I spent two weeks in the Grand Hyatt a couple or years back. Very nice if you don't have to pay!

Hotel relax, cheap, clean and right in the middle. 5 mins walk from the trains.
