for that sort of cash I dont think you'll beat the Fibrox handled Victorinox knives, relatively cheap for pro knives,
very robust, and virtually indestructable.
not - 'pretty' but a good lasting edge and easy to maintain

Globals aren't the best. Best costs far more. Also globals have a small handle and lightweight. which doesn't suit everyone.
