Spec me a Lakes Holiday

Hi all,

I'm wanting to go camping/youth hostel/cheap B&B in the Lakes Friday 20th- Sunday 22nd. Can anyone reccomend a good campsite/hostel/B&B?

It has to be fairly cheap, but nice...Cheers

Cheap camping and bunk houses (like a hostel), dunno know anywhere for cheap b&b but the brotherswater inn up the road is very pleasant.

oh ps. there's nothing to do in glenridding but walk, boat around ullswater or go the pub, if thats your thing though you could do a lot worse.

Thinking about it we really need to be in Windermere - close to lots of nice pubs/restaurants etc etc etc

We stayed in a place near Brotherwater, it's on the steepest pass in the lakes and makes for fun driving. I remember the guy who owned or ran the place bred Burmese mountain dogs. There is a pub across the road

Why Windermere - have you looked at Keswick which is probably the "liveliest" bit of the Lake District, with loads of Pubs and Restaurants?

Is that right?! Oh well....we'll have a look in Keswick then - Any ideas for B&B's there?
