Spec me a meal...please?

the worst part is, you both dislike different things which is just frustrating. Although I would say since it is valentines and you're trying to do something special maybe a dish with ingredients she likes even if there is something there you don't particularly like and you can have a potato or some ****. Make her feel even more special by cooking exclusively for her otherwise you can make cereal and some toast with all your fussiness together..

Best option would be to slap each other in the face and tell each other to stop being so bloody fussy.

Then maybe you can eat something nice like regular human beings.

Pretty much this.

Your combined fussiness would immediately eliminate 90% of the dishes on most restaurant menus, so you'll be extremely limited in what you can cook for both of you.

I don't eat veg either. :(

Do you mind me asking why  Do none of these look appetizing to you?

I just had a thought....I could do a butterfly turkey steak, with some cheese in the middle and wrapped in bacon, with some nice chunky chips and peas?

I must add, I will eat some veg, just definatly not mushrooms/trees (white or green) or peppers...

Definately bake some potato, sweet potato and pumpkin then it's always a good staple side dish.

But aside from that yes that does sound good and now that its lunch time I'm getting hungry talking about food..

Also ninja edit: Such a shame you don't eat green vegies :(, they are by far the best for you.

I cooked a brilliant duck fillet in blueberry sauce the other night, was awesome++ just add whatever ptotatoes you like to it and done.

1) Rub salt and freshly ground black pepper onto the breast fillet, and griddle cook with fat side down for ~6-7 minutes, flip to meat side for a minute or two and then transfer to the oven (pre-heated to 200c) for about 8-10 minutes

2) whilst duck is in the oven, get a sauce pan and add a quarter of a glass of red wine, 1 tbsp brown sugar, some salt and black pepper, 1tbsp red wine vinegar and ~100-125g of fresh blueberries...simmer this for about 6-7 minutes stirring regularily to release the flavour of the blueberries and this will thicken up.

3) Take breast out of the oven, place on plate fat side down. Drizzle blueberry sauce over the duck carefully with a teaspoon and put the rest of the sauce on the table in a ramakin. Put whatever potatoes you've decided to make on the plate too.

4) Eat

5) ???

6) Profit

total time: <20 minutes start to finish depending on what potatoes you do, it is fresh and absolutely gorgeous and does not include anything that is on your list :p

Tom.

She'll not eat chicken but she'll eat turkey? Really, now that is fussy! You are going to have a really hard job making something simple but tasty with the limited ingredients you have to work with. Good luck though :)

Pot noodle? wait wait wait what?
That leaves:

Mince beef
Prawn
Crab
Lobster
Pigeon
Duck

Any of the above?

Also leaves Horse Meat, Pheasent, rabbit, goat.. just a few more ideas?
Maybe a nice pizza each?, thin base, stuffed crust.. she can have veggie, you can have meats.. both sorted, both not so difficult :D!

Lobster and a sort of salad may be nice.

What about a pudding? Jamie Oliver recently did flapjacks in under 20 minutes, they looked fantastic.. see if you can find the recipe and maybe look into that too?
