Spec me a new Graphics Card...

Right,

I currently have a GTX295. I will be getting a new 27" monitor and will start gaming at 2560x1440. I might even consider the Hans G 27.5" monitor - 1920 x 1200.

I need a new GPU though and wondered which option is best? ATI - Nvidia?

Crossfire... Sli? 1 card dual gpu etc etc.

Change the bios to match that of a 6970 along with the 2Gb Vram headroom.

This is going on the ?? price your willing to pay for a new GPU, but this is the best bang for the "pound" atm.
