Spec me a new ISP please!

ADSL (not unbundled) is my only option. I'm currently using Nildram Broadband2 and paying £25.99/month for an 8Mbps service.

My requirements are:
1. No traffic management (excluding a usage cap)
2. Good pings in games
3. Less than £20/month
4. A 1 month contract
5. The ability to monitor data usage from a web interface

Maybe one of the Enta resellers?

I'd say quite low dude. I could probably get away with a 20GB cap.

NewNet Home S? £19.95 for 25GB/month.
They're over your budget, but Zen's 20GB for £24.99, and IDNet's £24.99 for 30GB.

Adsl24 not sure off topof my head what limits you'll get but they are a V good ISP

With low usage like yours I prefer to recommend Idnet with a 30GB cap at £25 a month. Going with Entanet resellers gets you 30/300 for £20 but there are slowdowns when offpeak starts. (Although it is a lot better now than it was. I think most users have already got the internet on localhost.

)

See for yourself: http://noc.enta.net/?page_id=166 - That is a real time network load they display. Updated every minute or so.

Theres a slight slowdown at 10pm for roughly half an hour , its "slows" down to about 2.5 MB

So no show stopper IMO

well it is more 1 1/2 hours verging onto 2. You can have a look for yourself tonight. This is the only traffic management that they do so I think it is worth it.
