Spec me a new phone....one that will also be good for a gap year

Spec me a new phone....

So i've been after a new phone for a hell of along time (mine is now held together with duct tape) and here are my basic requirements:

- Smart phone
- High res screen
- Semi decent camera
- I would quite like to try a full QWERTY keyboard
- Decent storage capacity
(that's all I can think of for now...)

For the past couple of months I have been thinking the Nokia N97 because it meets all the above requirements and exceeds others,it also has a touch screen which is a bonus.
The reason I want a smart phone is as a kind of substitution for a lap top on my gap year and just because I want one :p
I have also considered the HTC Touch Pro 2 but its just the problem of it being a Windows phone :(
I just had a quick look at some reviews on cnet and the Touch Pro 2 seems to get a much better review than the N97

Im pretty sure that what ever phone I get I will buy out right to go with an O2 Simpicity contract with the unlimited web browsing bolt on.

Both good choices, especially now that the N97 has matured a bit. I'd suggest going into town at a quiet time of day and having a good play with both of them.

I had a bit of play with the N97 a few days before it got released but as for the HTC, no highstreet shops stock it (do they?) :(
