Basically have about £200 to spend on a new camera for my holiday this christmas. I really want one of the Panoramic ones so ideally looking for one of them.
I will consider cameras without panoramic though so feel free to suggest them :)
Thanks

What's a panoramic camera? Is it one of those ones that can stitch photos internally?

A gimmicky panoramic mode on a camera is not a very good USP to base your purchase on, especially with such a limited budget. Base your purchase on the best image quality per buck and do your photo stitching on your PC.

Ok, so whats the best camera for my budget? with or without panorama?
How do you make a panorama on the computer? would i have to take a lot of individual photos?

Well yeh i guess so Superewza.
Just talked to the parents and they said that they would prefer a camera that can do the panorama without the need of plugging it in etc
So if someone can recommend me something then that would be great,

How exactly would you do it on a pc?
I tried out the Sony HX5V today in jessops and the sweep panorama was really good. But if people are saying now that its easy to do on pc then can i get a better camera without the panorama for around £200?
What would people recommend around this price?

well my panasonic software i got with my cam does it all for you
you just click the pic`s you want it to join, its that simple
you said you wanted to spend £120 in your first post, your not going to get a new HX5V for that so the method i use is what you will end up having to do on a £120 cam

Shaken i have upped my budget to around 200 now :)
Tried out the HX5 again and i think thats the one i am going to go for :)
The sweep panorama works well enough and its a good camera anyways so seems win win?
