I bought mine from staples a few years ago leather effect £169 looks great and seemed comfy in the shop but my bum goes num after 30mins or so padding is around 1-2 inches but metal plate under that .

Many of the chairs are let down by lack of padding on the arms too.

Yep. Refurbed typically. But then you are getting a £700 chair for £150 ish, so go figure!

worth it for a refurb, if you can find one. although I had never heard of them before your £120 - £150 comment.

I bought the Ikea Markus, quite comfy, but the only thing I don't like is that it can't lean back as far as my previous chair!

Quite a few people on the boards have them. I got mine to study for a vocational qualification as I knew I would be spending hours in front of a computer.
I spent 3 months of Evenings and weekends sat in it and always felt fresh afterwards. One of my better purchases I would say. Plenty available usually on the auction site.
