Hi guys...

A work chap is looking to get a new PDA and he has asked me to recommend him something, but seen as i have never bought a PDA because i have a HTC Wizard i am not sure what is the in thing at the moment.

So can you guys spec me a PDA for the ranges (budget/mid/high price). I supose the only requirement is WM6 Pro but i assume they all come with that these days.

Cheers

fujitsu siemens n560, I have the n520 (the 560 wasn't out :()

620mhz cpu etc plus built in gps as well which is pretty good.
Relatively good battery life too for the n520 - can get a working day out of it without a charge even with wifi on, gps does suck up the power when its active.

The only issue is it may not have wm6 on it but to be honest the latest version isnt really that much different in my view

Yeah, just looked in the shop and none of the device have WM 6 on them yet, so that isn't really a biggy.

The toshiba looks pretty smart with GPS in it. Might have to recommend that then. :)

I love the Dell Axim's.
I own an x50V which I upgraded to WM5 and it works great.
It's mainly used in the car with TomTom as my GPS system.

However Dell have effectively said they are leaving the PDA market so I'm not neccessarily convinced I'd by another Axim if I was looking to buy right now.

Ok after careful consideration im thinking of telling the dude to go with the Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox n560 Pocket PC. The OcUK page doesnt have any in stock though but for an ace price! Is that right? When are they likely to get some in stock?
