I'm guessing 3 points and £60 for that, sound about right?

Spookily I was caught 6 years ago (my only other speeding ticket) on the M4 in Wales doing, wait for it, 84mph in a 70mph. :eek:

Heh, good replies.

The one I had before was 3 points and £60, but that was Wales Constabulary rather than Dumfries & Galloway, and also was 6 years ago.

Hopefully it'll be same again, unless I'm really lucky and get offered a speed awareness course.

It's ironic really, normally I'm captain slow but that day I was driving a cack rental van which had badly balanced wheels which caused the steering wheel to shake violently at any speed between 60 and 80.

I know its no excuse though, etc etc.
