Don't get so hung up on megapixels. In a point and shoot camera, the quality of the optics and the image processing isn't really good enough to make proper use of 10MP sensors. To put it in perspective, my 350D has an 8MP sensor that gives me images that I've printed at 30x20", so you don't really need it.

Canon do great point and shoot cameras, you could do far worse than to pick one to your budget.

If you shop around, you might be able to find a Fuji F30, which I'm using. The auto mode is good enough for your everyday point and shoot and its more advance settings / mode (which I'm still learning) can open doors to better photography :)

A decent second hand ones are posted on the bay for around the budget price too.
If not, the Canon Ixus seems to be very popular around the photography community for it's quality / price.

F31 has been discontinued now Colin, so it's hard to get new. I've just bought a Fuji F40FD for under £100, my decision was between this and the IXUS 65. I'll let you know what it's like but it's probably the best for under £100.

Thanks for the replies, can i also just note that it HAS to have a good video feature for filming while im at concerts. Also must be good at taking shots in show.

Thanks.
