I've built several PCs now, but have no experience with small form factor machines. Please can someone help me build a system based around the bargain AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-176-AM).
I don't need too much grunt, just to be able to play video files, and watch and record Freeview. I don't have a budget as such, just as cheap as possible - I just want a new project to waste my time with!

I already have DVD drive, AGP graphics card, sound card, and HD, so just need MoBo, PSU, memory (1GB will do), Digital TV card... and anything else I've forgotten...

Any help appreciated!

The SN95G5 seems to be exactly what you're looking for, althous you'll have to source one elsewhere. Also, there are only two slots in the chassis, so you'll have to use an external TV tuner or ditch the sound card in order to get it all to fit.

if its just a cheap media machine you want why not go for the antec 1300 and a uatx mobo with the 6100 or 6150 gfx onboard this also gives you the option to upgrade to pci-e if you want
