I've never bother getting an account before as I haven't needed one. I get paid in cash, and everything I earn (that I don't spend) goes into an ISA and grows nicely every year. But I'm now in need of account so that I can "shift" some newly acquired funds around, and I'll be at university next year so will need one for my day-to-day cash needs.
