Spec me a travel adaptor

Can anyone recommend one? I have been having a browse and there are so many some say the don't convert voltage only the plug socket it's self. I presume to use items such as iPod chargers I would need one that does? Will be using it all round the world so need a universal one that world in many countries.

The majority will only adapt a UK 3-pin plug to work in the local type of sockets. They will do nothing about converting the voltage. You need to look on the devices you plan on using to see what electrical inputs they will take.
