Spec me a TV for my needs

Im moving to a new house in about 6 weeks and would like a new TV for when i move in.

I will be seting this up with my HTPC near the TV and will be using the TV as a monitor, then changing to a TV using an inbuilt freeview.

Specs I would like

1. 40 - 42 inch screen
2. Highest res possible - 1,920 x 1,080p
3. All under £1000inc del & Vat
4. LCD

If this cant be done whats the nearest best match.

And i know this question is done to death, whats the best way to connect my PC and what cable do i need.

Relising that Danoliver1 has a thread open with some suggestions that do help me, however anymore would be greatly appreciated
