if you spent about 12hrs total on the bus it could have been the proper Canyon, if it was 4-6 hrs then it would be the West Canyon (rim)

So far, using bookit I've found a direct return flight to Vegas with 7 nights at a 4* hotel on the strip (opposite MGM, cant remember the name) with some freebies thrown in like a club night and meal vouchers for £650 each. Sounds good to me

Still undecided about the road trip side of things. Is there any decent sites built around that idea?

i.e. Land in San Fran, stay there for a night, hire a car, drive to Vegas stopping in some B-Movie style dodgy motel overnight, arrive in Vegas and leave car somewhere, and fly home from Vegas. Doing it all seperately, it starts to become a lot more than £650
