Hey all

Kind of fed up of wearing my £6.99 casio out and about and feel it is time for a new watch here is the criteria

* something to wear when I'm dressed up smart so not when I'm in gym etc

* not too huge on my wrist

* don't want the digital look want more class and style

* not sure what kind of strap suppose metal is okay

And as mentioned up to £200 or £100 to £200

Thoughts welcome please provide pics

Thanks

Personally I would go for something with a little more lasting power. Why go for something that costs allot just becouse of the name.

Ive heard good things about rotary aswell.

But Ive always thought that a watch is a very personally Choice as its something that you have to put up with on a day to day basis.

I would check out the "what watch do you wear" thread aswell. Lots of nice ones in there.

I would personally spend a little more and get a vintage Omega. Fantastic designs and will still be brilliant dress watches in 50 years time.

Don't get an armani watch, they're common as much and look awful, although that's a subjective thing.

Have a look at what Seikos you can get for £200 or under.

Accurist make pretty decent gear for the money - I personally like this one a lot:

Full chrono etc. too.

EDIT: Go to a jeweler and ask about what metals the watches you like the look of are made out of, and then come back online and find watches made of the same shizzle.

EDIT 2: If you want to be a bit more fancy then check out Tissot watches, some of them are very nicely priced :)
