Spec me an Injury Lawyer

update, got back from A&E at about 12, scan showed a piece of chipped bone floating around so nothing broke. Just some rest and pain killers should do the trick.

looking at some of the responses i'd say the kids were off school early for Christmas. Thanks for all the supportive responses.

awwwwwwwwww, i'm sorry if my childish attitude toward your blatant money grabbing upset you, myabe you could appoint a lawyer to sue me for the distress, seems like you're just the type to do it too...

bit harsh considering that only time he has mentioned injury lawyers is in the op where all he asks for is a recommendation which happens to be for his father and not him

Anyone had any past experiance with Injury lawyers and can recommend one? seems a big choice out there just looking for some recomendations.

your funny mate, when's your stand up gig?

not for me its for my dad was out walking today and a bloke pull out of his drive and managed to scoop my dad onto the bonnet then on the floor with the guy claiming the sun was in his eyes. Dads currently down in A&E at the moment getting checked over.

Not at the moment, at the time he didn't do anything really (he's not the type to complain) so the bloke helped him up along with another guy and my dad walked home (just round the corner).

But as the days on gone its got worse and he's in quite a bit of pain now so off to A&E.

Show some respect mate, its not a ohhh a slight knock ££££.
as above he left it but its got worse to the extent he's gone to A&E. Next time you comment it might be worth thinking:rolleyes:

If my first concern after my dad was in a&e was to ask which lawyer would be the best, I would fully expect to be judged on that - we live in a blame culture where it seems people are willing to let things happen and then extract money for it, I find this utterly appalling.

As an example, I worked beside a guy that slouched in his seat 9 hours a day, he sued my employer for his back problems because some lawyer said he could get him money, 6 people were made unemployed to foot the lawyers bills, the company is just surviving even tho they won the case!

I also play football every week, have suffered some injuries in my time, never been tempted to get a lawyer on board to get compensation!
Why people can't sort themselves out without immediately getting lawyers involved is beyond me, but guess I'm just a childish judgemental superman...

You're just assuming that was his 1st concern for whatever reason.

I doubt his father was willing to be run over, it is possible although I suspect he would've been down A&E immediately rather than retuurning home, unless it;s all a clever rouse.

Your colleagues case is the type that really should not be claimable unless the employer has been negligent.

With football people accept that by playing it they are putting themselves at risk of an injury so it's your own fault if you're injured and it would be wise to have personal insurance to cover and losses if anything bad happens

The reason for my assumption is that the op was made when the guys dad was in a&e so a very early concern if not the first... my point is was not specific to the case, but you're right, it could be a clever rouse, it's not as if people deliberately bang cars to claim for whiplash to take advantage of the ridiculous claim culture...

keep digging a hole for yourself :) at this rate you'll be in China soon.:p

I'm a Claims Handler for Public Liability claims, so unfortunately (for the next 3 weeks that is until I start my IT Support job) I deal with Injury Lawyers all day every day... people don't realise what ******** these people really are, and as for claimants, they dont think about where the money is coming from... accidents are part of life and **** happens! Sooner people realise this, sooner this country will be better off! (RANT DONE)
