Spec me an upgrade for photo/video editing please

Photo editing (Lightroom/Photoshop) and some video editing (GoPro/Premiere)
My current rig is struggling and I have about £550 to spend on MoBo, Memory, CPU and cooler.

Currently looking at Defcon 3C bundle:
Intel Core i5 8600K Six Core CPU Overclocked to 4.60GHz
Gigabyte Z370-HD3 Intel Z370 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C14 2400MHz
Aorus ATC700 CPU Cooler - 2x 120mm
£551.95

I hear that Adobe runs better on Intel.

Any advice/suggestions?

I'll be interested to keep an eye on this thread as I use Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and will require more performance when I next upgrade.

I would have thought that an 8600K would do pretty well? I think Premiere likes high clock speeds though I would hardly call 4.6ghz slow, maybe you can squeeze a bit more out of it?

Yes, as far as I'm aware, Intel does have the edge, or maybe more than a little when it comes to Premiere. Not sure about the other programs.
