Would really appreciate some help choosing a basic AVR + speakers with a budget of around £300 ish, I'm not doing a very good job narrowing down the choices :/
Right, requirements: I have a shiny new Samsung LE40C580 in my bedroom - fantastic TV but the built-in speakers are a bit tinny and lacking bass, especially at higher volumes.
Shelf/wiring space is a bit limited so i'm thinking 2.1 will suffice unless its possible to get wireless rear speakers for a reasonable price? I'll only be watching normal freeview HD channels + media via DLNA/USB and xbox 360 so I don't need anything amazingly powerful, just good quality sound with decent bass. Don't have a blu-ray player and don't really need one. Needs a couple of HDMI ports.
