Spec me cooking oil and frying oil

Reading this some people do seem to be confused between Saturated and Trans fats. There are a lot of 'bogus' studies out there, designed to make the companies funding them more money.
Ne way.

Coconut oil for chips, my god my fellow man I must try this! I do wonder if it adds a coconut taste when I deep fry some things with batter on hmmmm.

I will take a look and hopefully sample some of these nut oils, cheers for info guys! :)

if you have money to throw away get coconut oil, if you dont ground nut oil (which is actually peanut oil but they call it ground nut for some reason).

also coconut oil can only be found in specialist stores, ground nut is in all major supermarkets.

if you are allergic to nuts then get rice bran oil, if you cant find this stuff then use a healthy veg oil.

Nothing wrong with using lard or Beef Tallow, very cheap and much less likely to denature and produce transfats when heated. a lot of people also don't realize how beneficial the very high vitamin D content of animal fat is,Lard has especially high vit D.
