Hey all,

My friend has just said he wanted to get into scuba diving. My uncle is an advanced instructor and I figured I'd dust off my old equipment.

I assume its all going to need servicing and I'm not sure if the regulators will even be any good anymore (to give you an idea of age I have a conshelf 14 etc).

If I have to replace all my equipment can someone recommend a good value retailer.

You may be asking why I haven't done it in so long, and the answer is due to a family member drowning whilst working at sea my mother removed permission for me to do it!

Thanks in advance :)

I have no idea what a conshelf 14 is, but if it's serviceable and works - use it!

I'd recommend you go find a couple of local dive shops for a couple of reasons:

1) Dive shops have struggled with competition from internet retailers.
2) You don't get to play with the kit online and get the wealth experience and guidance from the guys in your LDS, plus kit that needs to be sized you can try on for best fit.
