Spec me some DS games (5 and 9 year olds)

Hey guys, looking for some DS games for a friend of mine, as he wants to get his daughters some DS games, currently have cooking mama 1 & 2 as ideas, really looking for any games/ideas you think would be good for a 5 or 9 year old girl.

*awaits "funny" responses of assassin's creed etc..*

My two and a half year old loves nintendogs. I would have thought a 9 year old would like mario, mariokart, just about anything really!!

I dont have children, but last week I saw a boy about 8 ask his mum for GTA for DS...

She did comment it was an 18, but when told by the little boy it didnt matter she just bought it for him anyway...

Not that I recommend this.

Super mario bros, Yoshi's Island, etc

Just kidding, its a good game, decent concept, but controls are so horrific that Im sure angry video game nerd will review this game in 5 years time.
