Spec me some headphones ~£100

Ok so i have ordered these bad boys::

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/7970741/Sennheiser-IE7-Headphones/Product.html

The status of the order has been "awaiting stock" for the last week or so. I called the 0845 number on the website, spoke to someone 100% useless and polish who said they would aim to get stock in their warehouse 28 days from a date in the past that she wasn't sure of. She didn't know the relationship between stock arriving in their warehouse and delivery to my house either.

Does anyone have Play.com contact detials (either phone or email address) so I can talk to someone useful?

Thanks
Mike

P.S. Any other hot offers are apprecaited :)

I got an email that my order's been cancelled today.

Get some Grados or Beyerdynamic DT770's!

The beyers aren't exactly portable but dayum, they do sound good!

I'm so tempted to get a pair of DT770s premiums to complement my HD580s and K701s. Something with hefty bass is beginning to appeal to me ATM.

Shame about the IE7s being out of stock, that really sucks on Play's part. :(

Hi Guys,

I've been following this thread, and I too am in the market for a pair of headphones for my Iphone 4. At present I'm considering the Klipsch S4i, would they be the best bang for buck?

My max budget is £100.

Thanks in advance.

Stick by my Atrio M5/8 recommendation. As long as you don't need in line mic they are superb, take a while to burn in after you get them and I recommend you use the foamies rather than the rubber gromit things

Just bought me some Atrio M5's. They seem to have good reviews everywhere, even without a headphone amp so I've got my fingers crossed

I've used an iPod classic, Nano and iPhone 3G/3GS/4 to drive mine and they have work brilliantly without my little amp (which I use for my Yuin P1s as they are stupidly hard to drive)

Suggest you use a burn-in track (pink noise) on repeat over night for a few days as they definitely improve with use and will not sound brilliant on 1st listen, but give them a chance and they are superb.

I had a pair of UE v5 (i think) but they got damaged and i sent them back.

I've replaced them with a pair of Beyerdynamic MMX100 which were £90. The sound is excellent and they're very comfortable. The MMX100 have a built in mic for use with my iphone but they also do the DTX100's without the mic which are only £75 i think
