sheppard pie, curry, spag bol are all healthy enough!
Add more vegetables and use lean meat. Done

Truth.

Use leaner meat and a smaller amount of oil when cooking, add more vegetables to bulk it out so you use less meat, and serve with wholemeal spaghetti or pasta. Sorted.

Another healthy meal that I can't get enough of is a grilled chicken breast (marinaded whichever way you like), served with sweet potato mash (seasoned with some black pepper) and steamed greens. Delish.

So will all of this help lose weight

I'm interested in this too because there's a level in Beautiful Katamari on the Xbox that requires me to roll up high calorie content, and I don't know where to start! :(

WATER - it truely is the food of the gods.

By eating only water you are sure to lose weight, its very very very tasty, it costs next to nothing and if you spill it on your pants it wont leave any embarrassing stains to explain away later.

Oh and your skin will glow

Stews, salads, soups, stirfrys, curries.

Curries: prawn and butternut squash with low fat coconut milk.

it all depends what you mean by low cal.
even burgers are good, if you make them yourself.

Depends how much excercise you do.

Don't need to do exercise to lose weight. it helps and improves your overall health though.

Weightloss is as simple as energy in needs to be less than energy out.

How you achieve hat does not mater. Some diets like Atkins help as it suppresses hunger pains/addictions and it is hard to replace the lost calories in carbs with fat/protein.

I like to have various types of omlette
Omellete and cheese
Omellete and chorizo
Spanish omellete etc..
another favourite is tuna mayonaise in a sandwich / pitta (wholegrain is better).

Well, tomatoes are very low in fat and calories so making sauces with tins of chopped tomatoe and serving over grilled chicken is a quick way to a tasty meal.

27 calories and no fat to speak of. If you reduce down very far what sugars are in there will start to caremalise adding to the flavour, you then get it back to a sauce by adding some water (this is essentially how the Italians make Ragu, but it's cooked for many, many hours).

I wouldn't even worry about using lean meat.

Spag bol is a good example actually - the UK version of Ragu sauce is usually far too meat heavy. I don't know whether it's lazy cooking or what - but you should start with a base of diced carrot, celery and onion with some garlic. The combination of veg + tomato should well outweigh the mince.

That said, as Acidhell points out, the main thing to worry about is the calories - which usually comes down to quantity of what you're eating.

This is what I do and I don't bother with overpriced lean meat. The fat adds flavor. Actually, oo save money I usually use a mix of prok and beef which is very tasty.
