I actually find Joni Mitchel very soothing, at least the early stuff before she started doing stuff with a band, and latter on with "Both Sides Now".

Yes I do listen to the words and yes some of her songs are soothing. Not all obviously.

I was not really pointing at you I am sorry, but If I quited the original guy The singers name is not in there...

I have been listening to "touch the sky" all night. Makes me want to go out and slap everyone who ever made me mad (so not very soothing I guess).
